How to Choose Your Colours When Ordering Paint
Every product on our website now includes a Colour Details box. You must fill this out before adding the item to your cart.
- Want straight white? Just type white.
- Want a specific colour? Enter the brand name and colour code (e.g., PPG 1234‑4, Benjamin Moore HC‑172, SICO 4173‑21). We’ll tint your paint to match that colour.
Where to Find Colour Options
1 – Online Colour Libraries
If you already know you want to browse colours online, here are some popular colour libraries. Just provide us with the brand and colour code when ordering:
| SICO Colour Palette SICO Colour Visualiser | ![]() |
| PPG Paints Colour Visualizer PPG Colour Game | ![]() |
| Selectone Colour Info | ![]() |
| Benjamin Moore Colours | ![]() |
| Sherwin Williams Colours | ![]() |
![]() |
Keep in mind: most screens are not colour‑calibrated, so the colour you see online may not match the final tinted paint.

2 – Best Method: In‑Person Colour Decks
The most accurate way to choose colours is by using a physical colour deck or visiting our store. You can browse our full colour displays and check out in‑store specials while you’re here.
Important: Colour Matching vs Direct Tinting
It’s always best to choose a colour from the same brand of paint you’re ordering.
Example: Choosing a SICO colour and tinting it into PPG paint may result in a colour that is slightly lighter or darker. Even within the same brand, different paint lines can produce small variations.
Why this happens
Every paint brand uses:
- different bases
- different tint formulas
- different colourants
So a colour from one brand may not reproduce perfectly in another brand’s paint.
Refund Policy for Tinted Paint
Tinting is custom work. Because of natural variations between brands, bases, and colourants:
All tinted paint is non‑refundable unless the tinting error is directly our fault.
This is standard across the paint industry.
